I Will Be coming Home to You is on the Something to Believe CD with Avin Baird and Steve Inglish (Mr Downchild). It was written from the road when I was trying to reassure my wife (Future wife at the time) that I would be returning home soon. We were a new couple at the time, soon had different interpretations. I got a little idea in my head and went with it. It's a simple tune, that is fun to play.
The song has mostly remained true to it's original form, though some of the guitar has evolved. This is the way I play it now when I am solo.
The song to my surprise is my most popular on Youtube and Spotify and is the second most played on Jamendo. At least 300,000 listens from those services alone. Funny thing about songwriting, is you ever know what will stand out.
