Something To Believe

Something To Believe

This is a new recording I did a few weeks ago. Simple and raw. The song was the title track to my CD from 2013. That recording included Steev Inglish on harp, Xe La on Bass and vocals, and a childhood friend Greg on the banjo.

it's fair to say everyone on this record had /has strong beliefs going in a variety of directions. The only one I am close to understanding, is my own, though that seems to be constantly evolving, stagnating, or in full question.

We are in Passover. Today is Good Friday. Sunday is Easter. It is also Opening Day. It is a time to leave the winter behind. A time for renewal. Spring requires faith when you live up north. What gets us through is the belief that the cold world we have known for all of these months will soon be warm and inviting. What gets us through the darkest times is faith. We find it where ever we can.
