Accidental fruit is the story of a man who lives for the hope of a promise.

Bill Lestock provides fiddle and Laura Joy joins me on vocal. This is the first recording where I felt confident on the mandolin. The par you hear was intended as a reference for Bill, a musical prompt. He heard it and said, "the part is good. Keep it."

He pulled out his fiddle and brought the thing to life. Laura was in town doing a gig. It was either a house concert, or a Cain Park show. Anyhow, she stayed with us. I talked her into doing the part. .
